Custom & Personalized  Car Portraits From Photographs

Creating personalized car portraits from your photographs is very simple and straightforward. First thing to do is  send me the photos of the car (s) and your choice of a background (s)  by email to: inkyarts@comcast.net

Be sure and include your phone number so we can discuss payment methods in private.

Please send a photo of your car that is in the position you want it to be in the painting. I need to be able to see the main objects & details clearly. Send as many photos as you want. If you don’t  have good photos, I’ll use what you have as a reference to photos I may have in my archives. Most important details are the year, make, model & color.

All of the car portraits I do from photographs are painted by myself, no computer programs are used to convert a photo to art. The example shown here is of a 1995 Ferrari F-512m composed with the Ferrari Factory in Mananello, Italy in the background. Several photos of the car and the background were used.

When the car portrait is finished I’ll e-mail a digital version of the artwork so you can have a look at it. At this time minor corrections to the art not previously discussed or, overlooked can be addresses.

In rare circumstances there may be justification for additional fees if the changes requested were not in the original price quote

Please allow enough time to review the proofs, make changes or other corrections when figuring out your lead time.

Normally it takes about two weeks to deliver your finished watercolor car portrait.

Upon your approval of the car portrait proof and once all financial arrangements have been satisfied, your custom & personalized car portrait will be shipped.

Your new car portrait will be shipped flat, sealed in a waterproof plastic sleeve. Normal UPS ground or, US Priority mail is included in the price of the custom car portrait.
